GED Program Updates

News, updates and promotions for June 2020:

• Free Online GED Preparation Course: We’ve partnered with Kentucky Educational Television to offer free online GED preparation for all test subjects through June 30. More information about the course is available here. 
• GED Testing Service Sessions at the COABE Virtual Conference: We are presenting a lineup of sessions during this year’s virtual conference being held June 29 through July 9. You can view all of the upcoming sessions and times here. 
• OCTAE Releases New FAQs on Student Reporting Due to COVID-19: The full document can be viewed here.
• Tuesdays for Teachers webinar: Our recent professional development webinar covered the online proctored GED test and resources to help with RLA and Math instruction. The full recording and additional resources are available here.
• GED Manager Internet Explorer Users: We will continue to manage GED Manager updates for Internet Explorer 11 through August 1, 2020. We are no longer supporting IE 9 and IE 10. You are encouraged to consider upgrading to Edge or Google Chrome. This decision is based on Microsoft’s end-of-support for versions earlier than Internet Explorer 11, in addition to precautions related to Pearson VUE and GED Testing Service system compatibility.
