Accelerated Pathways Offering Discounted Online College Courses
Accelerated Pathways is the perfect college starting point for adult learners of all backgrounds.
By partnering with tons of universities, Accelerated Pathways helps learners earn general education credit at a low cost. Learners can enroll in courses to pursue a certificate, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree.
Through the Accelerated Pathways Program they will:
- Build a flexible, custom college degree plan
- Enjoy self-paced online courses
- Receive world-class academic coaching
- Save over 30% on the total degree cost
Learners navigate the process through five easy steps:
Step 1 – Free Academic Advising Session
In this session, learners complete a short assessment, and an academic counselor will reach out to them to discuss their goals, timetable, learning style, budget and more.
Step 2 – Degree Plan
After learning their unique situation, their academic counselor will use Pearson’s advanced proprietary technology to evaluate thousands of college and degree options. They’ll find five degree options that best fit the learner’s goals, budget and schedule.
They will get a college options report of these degree options in a side-by-side comparison. They can even request specific schools be included in this comparison.
Step 3 – Take Courses
Once they make a college and degree selection, they’ll get access to the Degree Manager™. This is a personalized learning portal where they can register for courses, take courses and track their progress.
With the Degree Manager™, college is simple. They will always know exactly what courses to take, when to take them and how much they’ll cost.
Plus, learners have access to world-class coaching the whole way. They will be supported by a team of experts throughout their degree. Their academic advisor will help them decide exactly what courses to take and when to take them, then the success coach will help them navigate the challenging landscape of earning their degree while balancing work and life.
Step 4 – Transfer
Once the learner earns the maximum number of general education credits from Accelerated Pathways, they can then transfer to their selected college to complete their degree.
All credit earned through Accelerated Pathways is regionally accredited and guaranteed to transfer to the learner’s selected college. Accelerated Pathways will even help the learner prepare an official transcript(s).
Step 5 – Graduate
Learners complete any remaining courses from the destination college until graduation. Typically, this will involve finishing the last 30 credits (or about ten classes) with the college that is granting the degree.
