John wasn’t able to complete high school because of extenuating circumstances. He dreamed of going to college and pursuing a career, and he knew that he could do so with his GED.
He enrolled in adult education classes in his town in Florida, and was happy to receive the support of a wonderful instructor who encouraged him all the way to passing.
John’s instructor, Pam, was an integral part of his success; he couldn’t have done it without her. John is blind, so traditional study tools didn’t work for him. Pam typed a lot of the information he needed to learned into his computer.
John’s family and faith kept him going strong throughout his student journey. Now that he has the GED, John is eager to start a new job.
